Dearest Jocelyn, I know how you are feeling about the life preserver!! I have had those feelings too. When we walked away with "our" boy I couldn't help but wonder what the others, who had to stay behind, were thinking. I know they wonder what Zhayne "did" to be chosen. They ask him every year when he goes back. He simply says: I did nothing ... my Mom and Dad let the Lord do the choosing. Then he follows up by telling them that they too have a loving Father who is with them all the time. The first time he told the children this you could have heard a pin drop! It was truly one of those GOD moments in time. You are truly blessed that the boys have realized where they came from and know for sure where they want to go ... with YOU. Imagine, they have no knowledge of what is on the other side of the world waiting for them but the bond that has formed between the three of you is stronger than the doubt or fear they may have. It just amazes me that they go so willingly and freely to LOVE. They have felt what it is like to be loved and fed and cared for and now they are ready to leave all they have ever known to have that feeling last. God is good!!! Our prayers are with you as you go to visit their older brother tomorrow. It will be harder for you than it will be for the boys! Take LOTS of pictures!!
