Things did not go our way today.
There are a series of events that need to go our way for this adoption to go through. Today there was an important hearing, and it did not go the way we needed it to. Most likely, this just means another delay. Victor has been on the phone, assembling a plan to go forward. I'm doing my best not to panic. Bright and early tomorrow, Anya will come here to stay with the kids while Victor and I go out to meet with people and shuffle some more paperwork.
Specific prayer requests:
Safety for Victor, Den and I on the road.
That Anya and the boys will have productive time together (that's the easy one).
Peace for me.
Most importantly, that the people making the decisions concerning Eli and Isaac's future will truly consider the best interests of the boys.
As always, please pray for these boys and their future.
Meanwhile, I think I'm coming down with a cold.
